[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals

[B] Scope of Service:

Vendor needs to provide freeway management system to the government authority located in Hawaii.
- CCTV Traffic Cameras or similar devices on existing light standards, standalone poles, or other structures,
- Fiberoptic/wireless communication and power infrastructure including, but not limited to:
- Determination of locations, spaces and intermediate access points for fiber optic/wireless routes and nodes and associated equipment. These may be installed underground, on existing structures or per other methods as field conditions permit,
- Network architecture and design (e.g., project plan, network topology and traffic/capacity patterns, end-to-end IP network modeling and design, management reporting packages, etc.),
- The consultant shall prepare all construction plans, specifications, and estimates and all required environmental documents and permits. The anticipated areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Civil Engineering (Roadway, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic), Electrical Engineering (Wired/wireless communication networks, power, etc.), Noise (noise variances during construction),
- It is anticipated that the devices to be installed may be procured under separate contracts and may not be the responsibility of the consultant,
- Additional design considerations may include, but not limited to:
- Obtaining and reviewing “as-built” plans and records on file with the Highways Division, Department of Transportation, and “as-built” plans with other agencies and utility companies.
- Coordination with utility companies and relocation and/or adjustment of their utilities should it become necessary.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates of construction cost items.
- Providing final construction plans, technical specifications, and proposal documents.
- This project is not anticipated to involve any right-of-way taking.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
