Vendor needs to provide professional planning consultants for the provision of services to the government authority located in New Fairfield, CT.
- Data collection, written and technical analysis for the presentation of community demographic, economic, housing and municipal fiscal trends and forecast for the town
- Provide assistance with routine drafting, document organization, the formulation of draft plan strategies and recommendations for the management of community growth and future land uses consistent with the defined requirements of Section 8- 23 of the Connecticut General Statues, Plans of conservation and development, including, the consideration of state and regional plans of conservation and development, determining consistency with statutory growth management principals, and plan implementation.
- Provide mapping and associated data for any mapping necessary for planning exercises at public workshops, or incorporation into the agency, to illustrate existing conditions, proposed conditions, and recommendations of the 2024-2034 POCD.
- Facilitate and attend a minimum of two public workshops to solicit and gather information data, present planning data, observations, findings and recommendations.
- Final document review and preparation.
